Up to 12 patients per day for procedures
ERCP, EUS, colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, liver biopsy required
2 – 4 phone consults per 24-hour period
Less inpatient work — hospitalists handle admissions
15 hour overnight call shifts
Weekend call 24 hours
