Call: 1/8 ratio — 30-minute response time, beeper call
Call volume: 8 – 12 patients seen per 24-hour period
Upper and lower GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, and liver biopsy required
PEG, esophageal dilatation, banding, and push enteroscopy required
Sengstaken/Blakemore tube insertion and management required
Hospital privileges required
