  • Monday – Friday schedule with call and weekend call rotation
  • 7 – 10 OR cases per week, with variation during TAVR weeks
  • Early morning ICU rounds with surgeon, followed by patient data collection
  • OR first assist duties for CABG, valve, TAVR, thoracic and vascular cases
  • Independent post-hospital patient management in weekly clinic sessions
  • ICU duties include central lines, arterial lines, chest tubes and vent management
  • Collaborative surgical consult responsibilities
