Description

North Island, New Zealand Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a general medicine physician to join their service! You will join a diverse and dynamic internal medicine team of 13 physicians with a range of sub-specialties, providing medical services to this community surrounded by forested hills and sprawling bushland. This role is made up of inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities as well as dedicated time reserved for administrative tasks. You will also take part in an acute general medicine on-call roster with post-graduate support. They are looking for consultants with a broad internal medicine background who may be dual trained; the team will support your interest in the relevant service. You must be actively boarded in internal medicine, and we would be particularly interested in hearing from consultants with expertise in rheumatology, endocrine, and infectious diseases.
