  • North Carolina
  • Call schedule 10 days per month with 24-hour shifts 7am – 7am
  • Daily patient load 2 – 3 patients on call days
  • Daily clinic load 22 – 24 patients per day
  • Level I nursery setting
  • Average 2 newborn admissions per day with range 0 – 5
  • Neonatal resuscitation and circumcisions required
  • Coverage includes weekend shifts Friday 7am – Monday 7am
  • ED phone consultation 1 per week for pediatric patients
