Job quick facts

  • Weekend shifts only — 7am – 7pm Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 1-2 weekends per month
  • Rounds on 10 – 15 patients daily
  • First assist on 0 – 6 cases per day
  • Trauma and acute care surgery focus — no clinic duties
  • Night call potential Thursday and Friday before weekend shifts
  • Cases include trauma, diverticulitis, cholecystitis, bowel obstruction
  • Urgent coverage need
  • ATLS certification required
