  • Christiansburg, VA
  • Mon – Fri, 8 am – 5 pm — 8-hour days, on-site
  • 1 weekend/month — call starts Fri 5 pm, rounds Sat & Sun until Mon 8 am
  • On-call rotation — 1 week every 3 weeks during daytime hours
  • Census of 10 – 12 patients per day per psychiatrist
  • Adult inpatient psychiatry unit
  • Weekend rounding supported by a resident or NP
  • Avg 1 – 2 admits/discharges per day per provider
