Job quick facts

  • North Carolina
  • 3 – 4 shifts per month — 24 hr call (7am – 7am)
  • 5 – 8 babies per day; 2 – 4 inpatient peds per week
  • Level II Nursery — caring for infants down to 32 weeks
  • Respiratory staff available for backup support
  • Must independently intubate and stabilize patients
  • Procedures: umbilical lines, LPs, CPAP/SiPAP/BiPAP, circs
  • Rounds, admissions, discharges, and ER consults required
  • NRP and PALS certification required
