Job quick facts
- Fort Wayne, IN
- Mon – Fri onsite coverage: 7 am – 7 pm; 7 on / 7 off preferred schedule
- Weekend coverage — 24 hr shifts with approx. 4 hrs onsite starting 6 am
- 8 – 10 inpatient patients per shift; 3 admissions and 5 phone consults
- In-house call — 1:3 ratio; covers inpatients, ER consults, and transfers
- Rounding nurse available 5 am – 5 pm on weekends for first-line calls
- EVH experience required — approx. 500 cases or 10 years experience
- First assist on cases and help train new APPs on EVH procedures
- ACLS and BLS required; cardiothoracic APP experience required
