  • 10 – 12 hour shifts, evenings required — 8 am – 12 am operations
  • 5 – 15 shifts per month, some weekends required
  • 45 – 55 patients per shift in a busy pediatric urgent care
  • Pediatric urgent care setting — multi-site coverage needed
  • May supervise ancillary staff — splinting and procedures involved
  • Suturing required — 2 – 3 per day minimum
  • ENT concerns, pneumonia, abscess draining, and X-ray interpretation
  • EKG interpretation required — approximately 1 per week
